We are the Rhythms of Resistance Band from Oldenburg, Northern Germany. We are part of a transnational network of percussion bands called Rhythms of Resistance (RoR). We use Samba and other rhythms to fight on the streets for a better world.
With our music we support progressive manifestations, direct actions, blockades, rallies and street parties. We exist since quite some years as a self-organized group of 10-15 people. We meet on a weekly-ish base in Oldenburg’s autonomous centre “Alhambra”. New people are always warmly welcomed! Even if you never played an instrument before! Seriously!
